Flies love Rivian Blue

… now that I have your attention.

Truck is parked outside today. It’s HOT (for here) on the coast, and the part of the truck in the shade (the hood) is covered in small flies / gnats. Temperature is 85-ish degrees. Truck is Rivian Blue. I am confused.

Anyone else seen anything like this? Picture below (you’ll need to zoom).

bugs like shade too, park in the sun and run the air 5 mins before you hop in

They love the front of my truck. I use quick detail spray. Griots 3 in 1 spray ceramic wax will keep them from penetrating too deeply.

Those are fleas from Long Dog.

Those flies are on everything in the Bay Area right now and on all our vehicles. I think it is the oriental fruit fly infestation we have right now.
