First charging experience at a Tesla SC and just happened to be at a Magic Dock in St. Pete (only one in Florida). This couldn’t have been any easier (even a child could do it - just not my 11yo who was more interested in napping).
Plugged in and started charging after 10-15 sec handshake. Arrived with 40% SOC and pulled 127 kW max. Cost was $0.47/kWh which I thought was reasonable compared to other stations in area that charge $0.50-$0.60/kWh.
Overall, a great first Tesla charging experience - look forward to more Tesla SC charging on road trips using A2Z Typhoon Pro (waiting for Rivian to send me adapter - no complaints, as many have waited way longer than me). I’ll do anything to avoid other charging stations (pronounced EA) that I’ve had the “pleasure” of visiting with the added bonus of being located in a sketchy area that’s poorly-lit after dark.
