FM Radio Voume Problem

While listening to the FM radio it will often lower the volume as if about to play a system message or warning but nothing is actually played. After a few moments the volume goes back to normal and the a few moments later it happens again. Has anyone else had this issue and come up with a solution? This does not happen on bluetooth.

I noticed this recently. My initial impression was that this was caused by low reception, the stations I listen to tend to be up north, as far as Canada. But I don't think there is any distortion, only the volume changes.

I don't use the FM radio very often but I turned off the HD Radio option because it was causing strange behavior. I can't recall if it was what you described. My typical drive is in and out of coverage for HD so super annoying.

I have also started experiencing this. I assumed it was due to poor signal strength. Like maybe switching between hd and regular when the signal is weak.

Has anyone had this poor HD radio reception fixed? Super annoying. This is 100% poor antenna placement, signal to noise or software - my other vehicles don’t cycle HD Radio on and off like this. Recommendations?
