Almost should do a poll for this. I have seen a couple of forest green trucks in the shop that are very close to my config (which happens to be El Cap). I've been tempted but I've never seen it, or any other color up close and personal and I ain't driving to ATL or flying to Normal. So, I have to rely on threads like this. I understand that the green has a very high metallic flake so the lighting and surroundings can make a big difference. That being said, would you say that, in most conditions, the green is a dark green or a more golden green?

Second question, forest edge is non-negotiable. Too much green or OK?

Everyone I know who doesn’t have a rivian says that FG is their favorite color fwiw. I also like the El Cap Granite, but FG is much more striking imo. It’s def a dark green and I wanted to get FE interior but wasn’t able to.

I was really attracted to the FE interior, but struggled with the choice for exterior color. For the first year I was thinking white, then flirted with limestone but worried about the match with FE. Compass Yellow seems to pair beautifully with FE, but I don't think it would pair so well with me. Oddly, I never seriously considered a FG/FE combination until I saw one with 20" ATs and a functional tonneau cover in the shop, right after giving up on my max pack dream. Although I wasn't sure about the FG, I somehow took the plunge with that R1T.

A month later I love my R1T, and I feel incredibly lucky to have ended up with this FG/FE combination. There are very few Rivians in NH, so my R1T gets a lot of attention. The most frequent observation is "I love the color!" FG has a rich elegance that evokes British Racing Green on a Land Rover. The green takes on a warm glow in bright sunlight, yet somehow looks equally good spattered in mud on a dull day, or blanketed with snow. The FE interior can appear completely gray or unquestionably green depending on the lighting, but always feels perfectly in balance with the wood trim and FG.

Finally got around to following through on my intent to dip my factory 21" wheels. I used the kit from DipYourCar that comes with cleaner, brake masking bags, dip release, and 5 cans. Prep wasn't bad, and I ended up doing 3 light dusting coats and 3 heavy wet coats. I went with The Hyperdip brand Brass Monkey to pair with Forest Green. It's definitely not a color you'd use with Red, Black, Blue, or Yellow but with Forest Green I think it looks great. Not the cleanest job but the overall look is good enough for me and much better than the factory 2 tone finish.

I love this color in the rain and I absolutely hate these wheels but my wife won’t let me spend the money on the black 20’z… admittedly I love the ride quality quite a bit and the range in theory, but haven’t road tripped it yet…

Agreed. It's a gorgeous color that looks especially good in the rain.

I would just powder coat the wheels. There's a ton of great shops in LA. My personal favorite is Reliable Powder Coating in Downey. They do amazing work, and their prices are reasonable. My last job cost under $500 total for four wheels. Gloss black 22s.
