Just noticed that the overhead view since the update is a little messed up with the front and rear cameras not lining up exactly, then I noticed something even weirder, the front camera is inverted in the over head view and things move away from the truck as I move forward, and towards the truck when I move backwards in the overhead view section as provided by the front camera, the front view is fine, its just in the overview.

My car has a problem where the front camera in the overhead view is reversed, but only close to the bumper. It’s been that way since delivery almost a year ago, but service can’t/won’t fix it.

Sounds the same as my issue It was totally fine up until this update. Did you try a soft or hard reset?

This is not new and not tied to the recent update. You may just be noticing it for the first time. People have been noticing the mirrored image for quite a while now. As far as I know they do the mirroring to make up for what the camera can’t actually see super close to the bumper.

I have been having a camera freeze for ~2-3 secs when I pull into my garage (I think due to it connecting to my house WiFi) since the new update. Only camera glitch I’m noticing so far

That makes sense. My car has the Rivian-installed front license plate mount which protrudes too much to be compatible with the overhead view, so I also get a black like on my display. I wonder if the service center has a better front license plate holder available now.

Thanks for mentioning that. I had my first ever camera freeze while backing into my garage last night. This likely explains it (bug/glitch since the software update).

Builtright has one that mounts on the tow hook and does not impinge on the camera.

That doesn't quite make sense as the camera can see what it sees there is no reason to invert part of it.

I have that from the screens going into dark mode. I sure hope they can fix that.

Me too--I back into my garage and the rear camera will freeze briefly at the exact time I want it most.

It doesn't do it every time, but probably at least 50%. At home is the only place I've noticed it so the WiFi thing makes sense.

I'd been attributing it to an overloaded processor, since all of the ultrasound sensors are simultaneously complaining about obstacles on every side in the tight confines of my parking space.

When I see this, it always coincides with the automatic shift from day to night (or night to day) mode caused by the difference in light between my garage and outside.

Hmm, good catch.

I'll look for that, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it at night too. My garage is fairly bright during the day--I have a window right next to my parking space.

Same here. I'm backing into the garage and right at the point that I need to get ready to stop the image appears as if I'm already stopped but I'm still moving backwards. Not the best time for the image to freeze! This only started happening after the latest update.

I actually troubleshot this and found out it was tied to going into dark/night mode when the sensor got dark in garage and turned on my headlights
