Frunk Issue on a slant?

Hi All,

I had my R1T parked at a slant (side to side, maybe 12 degrees) and the frunk would not close. It opened fine, and tried to close, but would not latch and opened back up. Even trying to help it close--would not work. Rivi gave me an error saying to pull over and call service (which was odd since I was not driving at the time).

For a moment I though I might be in trouble--thinking the truck would not go into drive/reverse mode with the hood open. However, and luckily, the truck would go into drive/reverse and I was able to back up to a more level location. Then, the frunk closed no isssue.

Have other people had this issue?

I've noticed the frunk hinges do seem to be laterally kinda flimsy. I haven't experienced any issues with it wanting to close but also haven't parked on that steep of a camber.

I wonder if going into camp mode and doing a ”level truck” would have helped?

I love camp mode but that could take 5-10 minutes, especially if on a slant of that size. I like the thought but luckily you can drive very slow with frunk open until in flat terrain.

I thought camp mode only works with 3° or less and won't even attempt to level if it's greater than the tolerance.
