Yesterday I glanced at the touch up paints at a Rivian showroom. I have some minor scratches. $40. No seriously, WHAT??? Rivian makes the BMW parts shop look reasonable.

If money for goods is involved in some shape or fashion your absolute first statement should ALWAYS be PayPal goods and Services or Venmo with Buyer protection otherwise you're just soliciting people with blinds leaps of faith.

Update your post with that verbiage and it makes more sense to even continue the conversation otherwise no one online should send you any money in an unconfirmed manner.

coincidence that he gave up on the thread? Like cmon man if your gonna try and give people a discount at least share the details in the original post and not in dm’s. often people are automatically more defensive and cautious in dm’s.

Can I just say I used Tony’s info for my truck and got the F&F discount? He’s legit. Saved me $2500 on a brand new truck.

I actually think this is genuine, but kinda misguided: tony does have a track record of helping folks out, like the poster above and others who have got f&f discounts and other through him. However though I obviously don’t know for sure, I suspect he’s risking his employment by reselling from the internal staff store - I know if I did this kind of insider malarky at places I’ve worked I’d be out on my ear pretty darn quick if I got caught, and likely with some lawyers coming after me as well.
