That's annoying but I guess they're trying to save as much money as possible. It's like the 12v under the dash that they deleted and wish I had to charge my phone. This is one of my favorite features of the Dune. Frustratingly, there is still carpet on the seat back and in the cargo area (a big miss IMO). I think Rivian would do well to morph the Adventure trim into a higher-durability get-it-dirty set of materials that includes this new flooring material to replace all of the carpet.
looks good! Love seeing our parts in the wild!Put on the MaxTrax and the @EV Sportline side steps for the vertically challenged family members. Hardest part of the install was taking off the middle plastic panel. Great quality and doesn't hang low like the others.

Also finished my prototype mini rear splash guards.

I like'em both. I use the 20" AT's all winter with some lite off-roading then enjoy the increased range and performance all summer on the 22's. Range and performance increases are significant. To each their own... I like the AT tires much better. Plus is enables the best aspect of this vehicle-- the ability to go off-road.
If you've never done it-- it's so wonderful to find local trails. Pack up lunch. Leave early in the morning and hit the trail, enjoy the scenery, stop for lunch somewhere, and enjoy the day in nature.
