Gen 2 12v Battery Access

I know the battery is under the front passenger seat. Has anyone acessed the battery yet and have a procedure for what needs to be done to get to it?

I want to put a small battery monitor on it. I prefer to go directly to the battery leads vs another location that would be turned off when the car is off.

TIL they moved the 12v battery in the GEN2. What did they put in the front where it is with the GEN1?

That’s a great idea - I’ve got one of those I used on another vehicle I’d suspected was phantom draining the 12V.
