Does Rivian send software updates without letting anyone know? Seems like the drive cam is working now in my Gen 2 so perhaps they sent a software bug patch?

Good to hear! Can you post a small sample of a front-view recording so that all of us Gen 1 owners can be jealous that you can actually see plate information?

2024.19 added an automatic update setting. Gen 2 might have shipped with this enabled by default?

2024.23.30 here and it only worked for a day and stopped again. Both USB-C ports under the armrest stop working about a day after vehicle reboot (or new software update which essentially does the same - vehicle reboot). I hope they fix it pronto!

I thought this was fully fixed as of 2024.27.30, but unfortunately the drive just showed up as disconnected again. Which is incorrect

Mine worked for the following day after the software update, then broke again along with the charging ability from the other port. Definitely not fixed.
