Gen 2 USB-C not working

Anyone else having issues with USB-C outlets in the center console on Gen 2. Have gen 2 R1S and they’ve been working in and out intermittently. I know it had been an issue in previous version. Consequently the dash cam and charger won’t work. Resetting does the trick but then same issue with next drive. Placed a service ticket. Not sure if software or hardware related but wanted to see if anyone else had same issue since delivery.

I've noticed something similar, the whole center console gets hot and barely charges my phone. Gen 2 R1S DM

Sounds like a hardware issue. Let us know what service does to resolve. I know I'm anxious to hear about gen 2.

I have the EXACT same problem with my 2025. When I park and lock after 5-10 minutes (I think once it rests) the usb in the center dies and needs a soft restart.

Additionally, my parking audio resets to off and occasionally I lose my saved locations in the map.

I managed to figure out a workaround for the usb, I unplug before I lock each time. It never needs to soft reset if I do that for that piece, the power stays on.

It screams software bug and I can reproduce it on demand.

Picked it up 6/28.

Have they responded to your service ticket yet for it?

I had a tech come out to diagnose this issue. My center USB C ports would only work post soft reset, and then die the next time the car was parked.

He said it was a software bug and would be resolved with the 2024.34 update..

Is it specifically the .34 update, or the next update?

This is happenning to me Got my Gen 2 on Sept 21. Hoping the upcoming patch fixes things. Does anyone know when that will be?

I have my Gen2 in for service to address imperfections now. (Early Gen2 has funky “halo trim” and lots of random exterior trim and seal issues). Among them, the USB-c issue. I am able to format a drive cam flash drive but then it tells me it’s not there so drive cam doesn’t function. I suspect it’s software but will report back if they discover a hardware issue.
