Had my car towed back in November by a local company since the one Rivian sent was taking forever and the car was bricked on a busy road in rush hour traffic. Watching what they had to tow the truck was absolutely brutal. However, when I got it back, everything was fine. Wishing you the same.
Thank you! That's a terrible experience, but this gives me hope. Brutal is the right word for it. We couldn't get inside to turn the steering wheel, so an awful lot of torque was applied to the wheels themselves.

Update!
Duncan SC sent word this morning that the car was ready. Took a half day off to make the 90 mile drive to pick it up. Then an 18 wheeler rear-ended me in stop-and-go traffic. Nobody hurt. No dispute on the truck driver's fault. Just a 3 hour delay waiting for highway patrol to get there and provide a police report for Enterprise. Very glad they didn't hit my R1S.

So the Duncan SC essentially replaced the 12V battery, bracket and control module, successfully pushed the OTA update to 2025.26.30, checked the tire pressures and tightened the hub=>knuckle fasteners (separate campaign, much appreciated).

Due to the collision delay, I arrived at the SC afterhours. I called in advance to make sure my vehicle was parked in a place I could pick it up after everyone left for the holiday weekend.

Everything looked great and in its place. The interior smelled nice, but no sign of cleaning or new dirt. The tech signed a nice card and left it on the dash. I merged onto the freeway to drive home and.....no ADAS. No cruise control. No lane centering. Totally unavailable. Their invoice explicitly included a test drive. I pulled over at a rest stop and did a hard reboot. ADAS still unavailable. Drove home and pulled up D.R.I.V.E.

From my quick research, there's an inverter fault and a bunch of network switch faults. WTF. No idea if any of these were present before the 12V and update issues arose, but ADAS was working. The vehicle is now less functional than it was before Rivian told me to do that reboot in the garage.
