It seems likely that "someone will fill a gap to take (your) money" eventually - you *should* have the option to opt in on policies with those features. However, the free market can be slow to respond, and spotty in its application.I believe in free markets, see them operate, and know someone will fill a gap to take my money. No paranoia, and I welcome the ability to pay for what I use. I'd like mile based, and driving based insurance, please.
I just want to know that Rivian isn't selling my information to insurance companies, without my knowledge or ability to opt out. If it were to turn out that Rivian was engaging in such deceptive and insidious practices, that would be the end of me being a brand ambassador.
