Just wanted to say thanks to the service folks at the Hazelwood, MO (STL) service center.

Got my T back after one day. Windshield needed replaced due to a crack from a limb hitting it. State Farm took good care of me (free replacement) and the folks at Rivian Service Hazelwood did me a solid. Got me a R1S as a loaner. I live about 70 miles from the service center so got to drive it for a bit. Awesome vehicle ...second only to the T in my opinion...but man was it sweet.

Service was great. Picked up S, got windshield and half shafts done in a day on the T...picked up next morning and brought T back home.

Thanks again Rivian Service Hazelwood. Awesome job.

I agree I've had some positive experiences with service as well.

We've had that exact loaner too! The STL service team have been *great* with us as well - really helpful, and let me and my wife work for the morning (the joys of teams...) in their lobby whist working on our R1T another time :)

That’s great, I got the pleasure of driving an EV6 for my troubles. As if waiting 9+ months to get an appt for sensors/camera being “offline” wasn’t enough.

The service manager delivered my T back to my house because i had not been told that they were going to keep it several days. The loaner was a PHEV BMW.. I thanked him by giving him a laser engraving of an R1T framed in walnut.

I think you are correct about second best, which isn't a bad thing. I love our R1S, which is the best car I ever owned.... but when I had my R1S in for a service a few months back, they gave me an R1T for almost a month. I really believe I liked how it drove a little bit more. Suspension just felt a little smoother, probably because of the added wheel base length.

On a side note, just drove from LA to Vegas this past weekend, with a ski trip to Lee Canyon included. Drove the entire drive with Driver + activated there and back. Easiest drive ever to Vegas... and the Barstow RAN and Vegas RAN were a breeze...

Agree the T drives better. It wasn't a fair comparison though. My T has the 21s. Its a brand new set and they are so smooth and quiet. The S had the 20 all terrain brights. Much louder and not as smooth but still a great ride. The S is a great vehicle tho...dont get me wrong.

I'm up in Appleton WI at a Rivian certified collision center covering about half a block. I took a rock in my windscreen. They repair anything from semi tractors to Teslas. There are five Rivians here now that I can see. There are a half dozen Amazon Prime vans here too for body work. Yes, it does take up to 2.5 days to let the sealant cure, and they told me that in advance.
