Greenridge State Forest Novice Off Roading Part 3 Mar 22

Going back to GreenRidge State Forest for some Novice
Off Roading. More Details to come! Truncated time table so arrive at Exxon (From RAN) at 10am! We will set off at 10:15am sharp!

Here is the schedule:

RAN is in Hagerstown for those who need to charge up please do so accordingly and arrive on time.

10am: Arrive at Exxon Located at : 12937 Orleans Rd NE, Little Orleans, MD 21766
10:15am: Depart
12:30/1pm Lunch
1:30pm Continue
2pm Depart

Things to Bring
-Lunch
-Drinks
-Tow Straps (just in case)
-Spare Tires
-Walkie Talkies

I will be providing coffee and cappuccinos for all so bring a mug!

It will be a 3 hour Round Trip from bottom to top of the mountain and back give or take any breaks. Here was the route last time, this path is 21" and 22" friendly but may have more water and leaves and mud as well as some light pin striping.

Such a great group of folks at these GTG. It's been too long since I attended one! Haven't been off roading in a while but do have full PPF so not worried about pin stripes too much.

I wish there was an easy way to source a spare that isn't obnoxiously priced.. looking at the ram 2363's sometime in the future...

Are tow straps/spare wheel/etc. required? I'm a compete off-road novice but am interested in trying it out with the Rivian. Being a complete novice, I don't have any sort of gear or a spare.

Range-wise, does anyone know how much battery the loop consumes?

I'll defer to @kanundrum on the spare tire, but it's a pretty tame route. I drove there with the group in "part 1" and iirc nobody had any issues with leaks or getting stuck (and I was on 22's back then). Plenty of us should have tow straps, but I seriously doubt you'll need them.
