Guide assigned for my max pack quad preorder.. does it mean anything?

I got assigned a guide today via email. I’m still standing strong on my preorder max pack quad (eventually dual). Does it mean anything getting assigned at this point? Anyone else with the max pack configured get a guide yet?

Quad+Max does not exist and won't for the foreseeable future. They already said you had to choose between Quad+Large and Dual+Max and if you didn't choose, they would automatically assign one to you.

I’m aware. But they have not given us the option to elect the dual max yet. I’m not large pack, I’ve never changed my config.

I’ve had access to the shop for 3+ months. Hasn’t worked on me. No problem waiting.

I got a guide about 3 months ago. All that happened was I shortly got access to the R1 store. But there's no max packs in there yet, so it didn't help...I assume they were just hoping I'd switch.

So at post March '21 pricing, the Quad Large is $8k for the motors, and $6k for the battery. $14k total.
I can config that now and have my truck in as little as 1-4 months.

I'm still holding out for the Enhanced Dual + max.

Perspective:
I was a Feb 2020 max pack preorder holder. I got a guide in July of 2022. That max quad is still 8 months at least out, but had I stayed with it, I would have had a guide for 1.5 years before my truck. I switched to large in November and have my truck now.
