I think you got this backwards… the Cat is wondering why you aren’t making it more accessible. Maybe add a cat bed or heating pad? Some Catio furniture maybe?

I've used one of these scat mats in the past to help train a dog to stop getting on the sofa. It ran on a 9v battery and since I tried it out myself to be sure it wouldn't hurt him, I can vouch that it just gives enough juice to get your attention... I have no excuse for the other 1000 times I forgot it was on the sofa and sat on it

Our cat loves sitting on our boat's winter canvas cover, it's under a carport type structure, so it's protected from the elements and hawks.. so we just roll with it at this point as it makes kitty happy!

Yup.. I recognize "that" look.. it's the same look our cat gives our dog when the dog jumps up on the human bed the cat happens to be napping on. Cats do not like to be disturbed while doing important work like napping!

We used reverse cat-phycology. My daughter’s cat kept getting on the couch getting it all fuzzy, for like 3 weeks whenever we saw the cat we picked him up and put him on the couch. Being a cat, he started thinking we wanted him on the couch and just stopped going there. ??

cats despise people, in their view we're only marginally useful as to feeding them. What you need is a big dog to sort this feline out!

Try this… Get one of those Christmas lasers that projects thousands of red and green dots. Not sure if a cat would love it or hate it. But it works for woodpeckers.

Put a bigger, meaner cat on top. All jokes aside, they like to be places where they are warm. Make it cold, they won't go up there. Beyond that, it's not a cloth convertible top, don't worry about it. Keeps the mice away and from chewing your wires.
