Looking for some advice on Hail damage.

A few days ago we had a hail storm where I live in northern VA. After assessing the R1T, the hood is covered in dimples, along with some dimples on the sides, especially near the windows.
The truck is fully covered in PPF, and ceramic coated.

Question - is this type of hail damage 'fixable'?
Or would I most likely need a new front hood, due to the volume of dimples from the hail?

If repairable, if anyone knows of a reputable place in northern VA, I would appreciate a name.
Lastly, if the hood needs to be replaced, would a Rivian SC do this work, or would it have to go through an auto body repair shop?

Thanks in advance for your help, Jim.

I agree with the PDR recommendation, depending on how many dimples though it could get expensive. My buddy was driving cross country a few months ago, got caught in a hail storm and had a lot of dimples including some pretty big ones.

He had it fixed with a PDR guy, did a great job, cost a little over 5k.

Find a good PDR guy. They are magicians. They will cost more than most other PDR places but still save you a ton over a traditional body shop.

This would be my worst nightmare...kind of hard to protect against hail unless you leave it garaged 24/7. I echo the suggestion of using PDR. Not only will it save you on costs but going through insurance and replacing the hood etc. will also ding the vehicle history report as well. They might even be able to do it without affecting the PPF. Please let us know how you make out with this.

Thank you everyone for your help and suggestions!!!
Greatly appreciated.

I've never seen a hail storm like this - moved from NJ to VA a few months ago, and when the hail storm started it was 85 degrees out, and lasted longer than I thought it would - any car outside in the development got nailed, and most houses have hail damage as well, including mine.

I was hoping the PPF would have protected the truck, but it was large size hail and lasted awhile.
Hope this experience is only once in a lifetime...as seeing multiple dimples all over the vehicle hurts...
