I could be blind. Or maybe it’s super hidden. But I can’t find Halloween mode after the update. Does it turn on tomorrow. (I remember last year it just disappeared after a date) maybe it will appear once everyone has the update?

edit: Halloween mode will turn on 10/21

It's not available yet. Based on the riddle it actually isn't supposed to be available until the night of halloween since that's traditionally when jack-o-lanterns were lit. Rivian software tracker suggests it'll be active on the 21st though.

I should have looked here first! You guys have all the answers ?
I just looked through every menu about 6x before giving up.
Definitely not there if anyone is curious!

I did too, with my son, poor kid was so let down. He didn’t want me to spoil the secret by looking it up. I finally gave in and came here.

Did the same. Sat in the garage in my R1S looking for it until I nearly fell asleep (granted I was already tired).

I hope they change the door locking sound to bats fluttering or something fun.

Thanks for this. I was looking all over for it.
Too bad it isn’t available sooner but 10 days would still be ok.

Am I the only one to get a little smile in my face when I saw that gear guard 'drawing'? Programming that old mainframe to make 'drawings' on greenbar paper was a real skill back in the day!

(Yes, you have to be old to remember the binders and binders filled with greenbar.)

I am old enough to remember programming an Apple IIe and poking certain memory locations to get fun easter eggs. Maybe a little later than the greenbar paper era, but only just (we had those still floating around the university for a few years).

I would say with the interest I see in Halloween mode....a strong case could be made that more of that type of stuff would be well worth the investment for Rivian. Seems pretty popular to have fun type stuff like Halloween mode....maybe Holidays mode....New Years mode....etc....

Agreed, but I suspect the fun police will ruin that by being offended at holidays that cause micro aggressions.

Allow a setting that says..."I am easily offended....please keep my Rivian free of anything that could be even remotely interpreted as offensive" with a click box.

Bring on Festivus mode!

Oh - this made me laugh! Once I had a requirement to print multiple tags on a sheet of paper and they asked me they could be perforated between the tags. I don't recall the exact COBOL syntax, but basically I printed '----------------------------' four times after "advancing 0 lines". The operators were decidedly NOT happy with me while I was testing to see how many times I needed to print the row of dashes to get it perforated. My first couple of tests cut the paper!

Rivian's ASCII artist's job is safe for now.
