Does anyone know whether this is intentional? Several plastic tabs hanging down at the rear undercarriage on the 2024 R1S. After quick inspection, looks like some sort of sensor ports.

On my R1S those are not hanging down. It looks like they swing up and snap into place. I am guessing they cover some bolts? Can you take a picture of what is in the cavity that they are supposed to cover?

I popped one of my tabs open to see what is under it. It looks like the tabs cover the bolts that hold the plastic cover on under the bumper. As long as bolts are in place and tight you can just snap the tab back into place by pinching the plastic hooks on each side of the tab in enough to allow the tabs to swing back up into place.

I would recommend everyone raises there vehicle to highest height once in a while and crawl under to inspect and look for loose bolts and damage especially after offloading. I had loose bolts before on underbody panels so I removed each one and put on a little blue loctite (Looks like thread locker is on bolts during assembly but I think if service removes panels they do not put any additional thread locker back on the bolts). Here is post with pictures of bolt locations that were loose. https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/rattling-noise-from-front-and-back.19589/#post-405095

It's a bolt... will ensure it's tight and close them.

Thank you!
