Hit the Rivian Lotto Deux

I was secretly hoping to also win the Lotto since our color choices were the same and orders a month apart.
While my Feb 22 order was Compass Yellow with Forest Edge, the March one was not.
After changing the March one to align with February as far as specs, a few hours later, on the same day still (8/5/2022) i got assigned a guide and the JSON reply changed to fulfillmentSummaryStatus : SELECTED_FOR_FULFILLMENT

The only difference between the two orders is the price. $78875 vs $93350

IMHO, kudos on Rivian to be doing this allocation based on what benefits their bottom line the most.

IMHO, kudos on Rivian to be doing this allocation based on what benefits their bottom line the most.

Could be an attempt to get as many trucks out under the current tax credit as possible before it changes. I wouldn't fault them for that personally. A lot of talk from people who say they can't afford the truck without the credit. Your first order would still qualify.
