Home Charging: Stops When Level Reached?

Pros, this may be a dumb question but here it goes.

I have the EA L2 charger at home and when I plug in to charge at whatever setting; it completes the charge. But then the battery has its standard vampire drain.

Does the vehicle and/or charger not continue trickling a charge to maintain the setting?

As temps start to drop overnight here in MT - 37 last night - id like to wake up to a full battery vs losing range on the charge…

Can't say for all EVSE, but the Rivian unit will keep me topped up continuously.

We have had ChargePoint and Wallbox units, and they will always charge when the vehicle calls for charging. If we have the vehicle set to 70%, then it will keep the vehicle at 70%.

The EVSE will not continuously provide power to the vehicle if the vehicle is not calling for power. The vehicle will charge to the set %, then the EVSE will go into a waiting status. When the vehicle drops below a threshold, then it will call for power from the EVSE and it will go back into a charging state to keep the vehicle at your set %.

My Grizzl-E EVSE will do the same and top off the truck when asked for.
