How do I get the STAR back on Apple Music?

Several months ago the star icon disappeared from my Apple Music implementation.

I thought it was because I let Connect+ expire, but I just added Connect+ for a month and still no star.

I’ve tried soft restarts and hard restarts with no return of the Star.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Same issue for me and hope to get an answer! My EV play unit and CarPlay may arrive before this is fixed…

Have you tried signing out of Apple Music on the R1? It’s been a temporary fix for me to some of the AM shortcomings. The whole AM Rivian adoption has been 50/50. While I’m glad it’s there, and the quality of the audio is excellent when it works, it’s interface sucks (eg, play lists not easy to find) and too often AM glitches out and doesn’t play my song choices. If Rivian isn’t going to improve Apple Music, I need another solution (don’t tell me to stream content from my phone). How is the interface and sound quality with CP on the EV play unit?

This intermittently happens to me. Usually it happens on, say, the first track I play after just starting the car, and then if I do a new search or browse, or select a new playlist, it'll appear on any media that queues up afterwards. It's very odd.

I had this issue, it persisted between vehicle updates. I was able to solve this by logging out of AM then logging back in. But now AM has been basically unusable this past week or so. Not sure what’s going on with it.
