Looks like a bug. The rate per kWh that is implied is $1.7145. I don't know of any place in the US that would have a rate that high, unless you were on a time of use rate. Looks like a bug

Yeah, that's the only time I've seen it, and I unplugged and plugged back in and it disappeared. Weird. Yeah, my rate is $0.18 in the winter.

I looked for this and didn't find it anywhere online.
I just got a 22 R1T - I noticed when I'm charging at home, the screen is giving me the cost to charge. It seems super high. I'm assuming it's not using what my electricity actually costs. Is there a way to input my actual cost? Or how does Rivian calculate this cost?
Cannot recall ever seeing electricity cost on my R1S other than cost shown when DC fast charging..
To figure out home cost, multiply kWh charged by utility cost. My spreadsheet log does all the work.

On the other hand, it would be great if it actually could display an accurate cost to charge while plugged in at home.

Why not have a watt charge as stated on your utility bill including TOU amounts and have the data loged and yearly state the Kw costs that flow thru the wall charger at home? If using a Rivian unit, that is only an OTA set up, right? An XLS type thing in the Rivian OS?
