So pet mode only keeps the AC on but doesn’t keep outlet or hotspot on?

how’s “normal” different from “stay off”?

Stay off will turn everything off, including the center display. It's basically an energy conservation mode even moreso than normal. None of the things that turn on when you, say, enter the car will do so until you push the brake.

And you are correct - pet mode just keeps climate control on. Your pet wouldn't normally need hotspot access...

It was explained that “normal" is normal behavior which would be for the vehicle to stop climate, turn off outlets, power down things like the vehicle normally does. A lot of things get turned off in normal. I think “normal” still keeps the screen on? But “stay off” literally means turn everything off including the screen?

This is correct. It turns off the screens and radio as if you were going to sleep in the car. You can then turn on the outlets for charging and you can also turn on/off the camp courtesy mode so the car doesn't lock/unlock with proximity or opening a door.

I often put it in camp courtesy mode when at a rental/hotel or staying at someone else's house for awhile so it doesn't wake up/light up/unlock everytime I walk near it in a front livingroom or something
