In the aftermath of hurricane Ian here in swfl I wanted to powder coat my 21" rims, but because of the storm a lot of places were shut down. So instead of waiting to powder coat I decided to try this product called Hyperdip. It's a satin black wheel coating in a can.
Originally I liked the product, but after a couple of weeks I'm starting to see some bad spots.
I have an appointment to do a powder coat in December and wanted to see if anyone did a powder coat in a Black Gloss with some pictures to share. The Satin looks good but it's more of a rough look. I think a black gloss would give me more of a classy modern look.
If anyone has any input I would love to hear what you may think before I spend $900 for the powder coat job.
