Inaccurate altimeter

Cros-check with the FO altimeter and standby altimeter. If they aren’t within ~20’ write it up in the logbook. And call your maintenance dept. They may need to clear the pitot/static port!

Now that I’m thinking of subsidence rates around the US, maybe my truck has the correct elevation but many years out.

My altimeter was reset during a service visit and has not displayed any data since. Not that I use it at all. When it DID display, I never showed that the R1T never went over 200 feet above sea level, yet we took it to central MA where I know the elevation was substantially higher.

Interesting; watched the "RivianTracker" YouTube channel about the latest release, and when the host briefly showed his central console, his altitude was also not showing.

Mine is sometimes off, but it corrects itself. It may be the OTA data. Another thing is my speed limit notice says the speed limit is 85 for a stretch of freeway every time I drive there. The sign on the roadside says 65. It is possibly an exterior signal issue.
