Installed the latest update last night. Hooray, Alexa seems to be able to play Pandora again, and is understanding me when I say "Alexa, navigate home", so two out of three gripes fixed. But the radio station is still showing the Morse code logo instead of the station logo (even after doing the update and an infotainment reset).

Did the update fix it for anyone? Or do we get the Morse code graphic for a bit longer? LOL. ?

This is intentional so there is nothing to 'fix'.

Why would this be intentional? Prior to two updates ago, it showed the logo for the radio station playing (as it should). Not some bizarre internal placeholder.

Logos are transmitted as part of HD radio, which I personally have turned off because the coverage is too spotty around me, so I don't get the logos.

That's a question for the developers. But based on the content of the Morse Code, it is clearly an intentional design by Rivian. And I've only seen this when there is no station logo, or the logo doesn't load, which also feels very intentional by the developers.

I asked Alexa to play KFI on iheart today and that logo showed up without issue. Pandora did the same thing when I asked to play Metallica Radio...

My Rivian has never shown the proper HD Radio graphics - prior to .14 when it became "morse code," it just showed plain text of the frequency and callsign. haven't gotten .18 yet to see if it at least goes back to that. I was wondering if the "morse code" was it trying to display the proper HD Radio graphics and has some code bug that decodes the image badly. (I get good HD Radio signal , and love the features of HD.)

Edit: Just checked my app, and .18 is now available; updating now. I'll know in a couple hours. (It wasn't available when I checked last night.)

I've seen this appear after the display was correctly rendered for the playing song.

I only use Amazon Music and Tidal and had never seen this with the 2023.14.0 release. However, after updating to 2023.18.0, the first thing I did music wise was to ask Alexa to play My Soundtrack Station (ie, play from Amazon Music to see if the .14 issue had been fixed). The expected music started playing and the flyout even displayed the correct "cover art" and song title and also showed Amazon Music as the source. But somewhere during the middle of playing that song, the album cover turned into the Morse code graphic, the song title changed to "Tidal", the music source icon changed to the Tidal logo, and the playback controls were showing as if Tidal were the selected music source. When I manually went over and opened the Tidal app, there was no music in the queue. All the while the original song from Amazon Music was still playing. When that first song finished and the next song started playing, everything went back to "normal" with the correct cover art, song title, and media controls. The music source still reflected Tidal but this has been a bug across every release since I took delivery of the vehicle. The Morse code graphic has not reappeared since.

It looks like the fixed the spelling mistake, but otherwise no change.

My vehicle just went through an update, 2023.18.0. It did not fix the issue. I still see the "morse code" graphic instead of station information. I tried a software reset but it did not change things. I didn't expect it to because I assume the update process would have essentially done a reset along the way.

I think it's a cute easter egg (glad they fixed the typo, though). I do think they could improve this by letting you tap on it to switch to the station graphic... That way everyone can choose what they want, and even get some quick serotonin if they need it.
