I'm guessing it still opened all the windows including the now-removed rear-quarter windows. If you only wanted those opened, then I'm guessing there was a button on the center screen.

It's just how non real life photos and renderings look. It's a light grey all around. Look at the other views and photos.

I really liked that button on my Fisker Ocean, but it also had a giant sunroof that opened so it was opening 8 windows from a single press.

I've seen Coastal Cloud and it is amazing! Much less white than Ocean Coast but in a good way.

I hate having to wait, but I’m waiting for that interior. As long as I can still get the LE in Launch Green and CC.

The concept vehicle may have been different at the reveal, but the R2s at the Block Party definitely included that switch as a functional auto up/down on all driver and passenger windows and the tailgate, and separate switch as just an auto up/down for the tailgate glass. I'm pretty sure each window switch would override the auto up/down, if pressed independently. And the windows are also pressure sensitive, and stop rolling up when you press your hand on them.

Ah, I see that now. Pictures and even videos can be deceiving sometimes. Can’t wait to see the R2 in person soon. I think I’m going to hit up the new Fishers, Indiana spot.

I've seen Coastal Cloud and it is amazing! Much less white than Ocean Coast but in a good way.

I’d like to see them lean into a kind of driftwood vibe. Maybe on a higher trim.

The faux wood panel on Teslas was phased out, but I hope Rivian keeps offering real wood. Something about it paired with the tech really works. It’s retro and modern, adventurous and refined. It really sets Rivian apart.

I think that’s going to be possible by the end of the year and whether you’re a current Rivian owner, where you are in line, proximity to a service center, etc. So many factors in getting this vehicle.

Something tells me Launch Green will eventually become Rivian Green, but maybe be offered on the R1 line first. It’s strange how Borealis jumped ship from a limited run on the R1 to a delayed color on the R2. Some whacky decision making for sure.
