Has anyone pulled off the dash wood trim on the passenger side yet? I've got a significant interior Rattle, and I've isolated it to the piece of wood trim that faces the passenger because when I press on it it disappears.

I don't mind pulling the trim and addressing it myself, I work on a lot of higher end cars myself but I don't want to screw up a tab or anything else on a car where replacement parts are so limited for the time being, so has anyone tackled this?

My dash is full of rattles when I hit small/sharp bumps. I've tried shoving pieces of weatherstripping and foam in various locations to no avail. Rivian SC tells me it's normal since EVs are so quiet and they can't get it any quieter. Disappointing to hear after shelling out ~$90k for a vehicle. It's honestly the single negative thing I have to say about this truck.

German cars can be super quiet as well and I don't believe rattles are considered "normal"...

I am slowly gathering pictures of people removing various dash panels so that I can tackle these rattles myself eventually.

Surprised your service center said that. I mentioned it off-hand when having some other stuff done and they were more than happy to take the panels off and check for loose components. When I got it back there were no more rattles.

I had the same issue in the same location and they had a hard time diagnosing where it was coming from, but they finally did and it was the washer fluid container rattling. They fixed it and I have not had any issues since.
