I would consider there to be three distinct groups of R1S orders:Right now, pre-update, we have two groups of R1S orders: 1) 2022 windows; and 2) 2023 windows. Each group is “some” of the R1S preorder population.
So if all of group 1 is moving to 2023, it would be technically accurate to say “some” R1S preorders are moving to 2023 even if that means there will be no deliveries in 2022.
Do I think that is necessarily going to happen? No. But the Monday email will remain technically accurate if they move all R1S deliveries to next year.
1. Those with guides assigned and PBAs signed who are in/past their delivery windows.
2. Those with 2022 windows who have not been contacted by a guide.
3. Those with 2023 windows.
I said before I think group 2 is likely to be those who are going to end up moved to 2023. If they aren't able to get at least some of group 1 delivered this year it will be a major disappointment.
