Get ready for end of Q2 push. They had a decent last quarter. Owners are reporting vins in the 7300s. This could could them in pace with 15k by EOY. The Rivian Shop is going to capitalize on mass deliveries of cars already built. My thoughts are those who are close will get one of those email blasts to pair by the end of month. Exciting next few weeks. Too all those waiting good luck and may the odds be in your favor for the Rivian lottery.

It’s just pouring salt in the wound. Why do that to your loyal fan base? There is only so much goodwill Rivian fans have. Rivian just keeps chipping away at it.
Yesterday a got a thank you from my guide for hanging in with my order- both nice and surprisingly out of corporate character. Also sounds like guides still aren’t being informed…

Everyone’s frustrated…and new types of people attracted to the trucks are coming with their own points of view. Sign of a growing company….

I get it, but there are ways to express frustration that aren't mean spirited.

Just fewer things to have input on that aren't just threads of complaints. I'm still lurking, though a bit less here specifically, and will definitely pop up when I have something useful to say. I should have some road trip experience with it in July that I'll share. ?

Rumor has it vins are no longer going to be sequential.
It would be surprising if they do not manufacture sequentially as most manufacturers use the serial numbers to assist in recalls if the get a bad batch of parts. Pulling off the lot for delivering is different but actual building…..

SeaGeo, if I have written anything in any of these threads that are viewed as mean spirited, then I humbly apologize to everyone here. Truth is I have a very sarcastic sense of humor that can be biting at times. I came to Rivian late (both order date and forums), and I am still feeling my way around.

The Rivian technology still blows my mind, and I am just as excited now as I was in Sept 2021. I want one of these trucks so badly, and like many I ordered one sight unseen. That is still the case as there have been no attempts by Rivian to even offer a First Mile Event anywhere close to me - not even Portland, OR, and I am two+ hours away, one way. I would have the capability to fly to the Venice Hub in California if it weren't for my recent major surgeries and COVID-19 - the two do not mix well. So there you have it. I get start-ups: been there; done that; have lots of shirts. Like everyone, I just wish things were smoother.

There are many, many folks here with points of view that often collide. I enjoy the feedback, but not if it gets out of hand. I have reacted to some of those, and perhaps not for the betterment of mankind.

I will say this: earlier on, when I asked real questions about real things on my mind regarding Rivian, or aftermarket solutions, I had zero responses. Even now there are many, many responses that just say "that's already been posted" without even bothering to provide a simple link or thread title to ease the search. I still find that puzzling if we are, indeed, a community that wants this forum to be inclusive to anyone interested in Rivian.

I spend way to much time on these forums, flogging along trying to fully understand what is important and what is just silliness. I enjoy both, but would miss your thoughtful input.
