Pickup tomorrow at KC Service Center
Congrats. They are a great team down theee!

Take a peek and see if my El Cap is sitting around. It would be the one with bugs all over the front. It was down there for service and is awaiting my trip back down to pick it up. I don’t let anyone wash it.

Saw this exact one getting gas at Casey's today...
That was you?! Sorry man I wasn't in a joking mood. Crazy busy afternoon and all sweet corn stands were sold out.

You should've said who you were. I would've let take a look.

Also, that Casey's is too freaking busy. I was nervous navigating through. That pump I was at card reader was broke too. Ugh!

It was a packed station for sure. No problem, I didn't want to bug you. Truck looks sharp!

Tyler, after switching colours to Canyon Red with Black Mountain interior and twenties, when we all got deliveries changed, I went from July/September to a narrower later window of October/November....what did they tell you? I was an August 2019 pre order and you were quite a bit later. I'm going to have them attach a note to my order that I will pick it up at the factory. With that, they won't need to fit me into any kind of transport schedule. All they need to do is build my truck and give me a guide which I suspect they might be a little short of. I'm sure I will still pay the delivery fee, but will get a factory tour.
I got Friedman Group in Dubuque to quote me an insurance cost with 500 deductible of 1050 for the year. The Californians can only drool about rates like that. Serves them right for getting all the trucks.
Did I see on the master list that you received your truck? How's it treating you?

I read this, if all of the fast chargers and level two are up and running that show on the map, I'm encouraged.

We drove to Normal from Dubuque for a factory delivery at 2:00 PM last Saturday the 16th of July. I had seen the unallocated vehicle in their on line scratch and dent offerings to the longer pre order holders. This one had 21s, I wanted 20s. This one had a spare wheel and tire and I didn't want one due to the extra weight.
Factory tour was a 75 foot walk out to a cat walk over looking an area where final pre delivery preparations were being completed.
What I got out of that was seeing all of the colors at once under the same light conditions.
My Canyon Red was outside quite near the front door, and as my guide was going through his demo, sitting beside me, he said:
Oh, there's RJ! He is around the plant about half the time said the guide. He had one of his security guys driving "Ole Blue" with the extra muscle riding in back. They both wore oversize Hawaian shirts partially hiding their armaments.
I gave R J a polite horn honk and wave.....after her concluded his phone call, he came right over and asked me how I liked the color. I told him it could use a little more red which left us both feeling awkward. He thanked me for purchasing and I thanked him for his persistence. I told him I had waited three years but it was worth it and had been down to Normal for the open house. He was trying to remember if we had talked, but I said no...you were busy with the Governor that day. Told him I did get two free Rivian coffee cups though. He gave me a big smile and his hand to shake.
The guide said "That doesn't happen very often."
I will post technical observations about the truck that haven't surfaced on the web yet....soon.
