Is the car able to automatically switch Spotify account for different drivers?

Finally, my new R1s audio is fixed, the speakers make sounds now (this is my story link). I wonder is the car able to automatically switch Spotify account for different drivers. My wife and I have different Spotify accounts, and we have different content for listening. The car is able to identify different driver, so it should be easy to automatically switch Spotify account for driver. Does it support this function already? Or anyone know is it on development?

No. We have a family account so we made one for the R1S and shared all of our playlists on there.

It would be nice if it switched per driver. The good news is that logging out and logging in with a QR code is easy; probably less than a 20-second inconvenience.

1. Be in Spotify app
2. Be in Park
3. Tap the user icon on right side of Spotify menu
4. Tap (LOG OUT)
5. Are you sure: Log out
6. Tap “Log In”
7. Scan QR code that comes up
8. Tap “Pair”

Yes, thanks, this is what I do for now.

And if you get a “too many requests” error, just scan it again. That error is probably a rate limit on how many requests per minute can be done this way by any user, not by you.
