Is there a way to prevent audio from connecting to Bluetooth?

Maybe I'm missing a setting but is there a way to have my phone audio only connect to Rivian when I allow it to? I often don't want it connecting to my Rivian when I'm listening to airpods but it does so automatically. Even if I click the "audio" option off for my phone in the Rivian settings

This works for me. If I play music from my phone, it plays on my phone (or pods, if connected). I also hear Waze alerts (from phone) if listening to the radio or Spotify.

Thank you. Mine is set so the are all off (toggle to the left/grayed out) on that exact same Bluetooth setting screen you are showing. Yet when I walk up and into my Rivian the stereo turns on often blasting loud music on my phone. I can't imagine this is normal behavior.
