Is this a good deal?

I am moving to Maine where EV infrastructure and service will be challenging. I want to sale my R1T asap. Carvana offered me slightly less than $53k for my 2022 R1T Quad, Adventure package, LA silver, less than 11k miles, with Rivian tonneau and cross bars, Ocean Coast interior. Everything is in like new condition. Is it a good deal? I can drop it off at Carvana local office and sign off title then pick up the check on the spot since the truck is paid off already. So it is quite convenient.

Would be hard for anyone to really say one way or another. Carvana offers typically fall somewhere between a dealership offer and private sale, but it’s also regional. If Carvana in NJ sees lots of Rivians they might offer less than a Carvana where they rarely see a Rivian.

You can’t beat that convenience, though. That is worth something to me.

Yes, Carvana offers higher than dealership and way higher than trade-in through Tesla.

I traded in my 2019 Ram 1500 limited a few years ago and shopped around to all of them including local dealers. Didn’t want to deal with tire kickers and didn’t mind not getting an extra $5K.
for me carmax was the best. They gave me a check on the spot (took about 2 hours) and I picked which location I dropped off at.
So def do your research and check just don’t assume.

Out of curiosity. What are you going to get instead? Or do you have a backup vehicle?
Also if you are living by the coast of Maine there are tons of chargers. All over. Yes no SC but chargers are not an issue unless you are going way inland.

I've sold cars to Carvana, Autonation, and Carmax. In every case, one beat the others by a good amount. Check them ALL. And all were super easy.

Seems fair to me looks like it is right at the bottom of the KBB private party value. I guess the question is what value you put on the convenience of just walking away Verses dealing with trying to sell on your own.

Try Rivian trade-in. I got more than that on my 2022 R1T with 25K miles 6 weeks ago from Rivian.
