Just confirmed NACS adapter shipping

At this rate, there is no way they'd have all adapters distributed by end of August—as one Rivian employee told a member. No F'ing way. Thousands would have to be sent daily and the forum would be filled with reports of receiving address confirmation.

I received the address confirmation email yesterday too. June 11, 2022 delivery. I believe adapter distribution is based on delivery date of the vehicle and has nothing to do with the VIN.

WTF? I'm May 2022 and number 67XX. Never even received the opt-in emails, and I've chatted with support who say I'm "confirmed" I have a feeling I'm getting fed a load of BS.

Try to avoid storing the adapters in the frunk.

Why? Too hot in the frunk for the adapters or is that they shouldn't start a charging session if they're "preheated" from being in the frunk? I keep my Tesla Mini-Tap in the frunk for easy access if I need it and have an A2Z Typhoon Pro on order and was planning to keep it in the frunk as well. I have an R1S and have room in the rear sub-storage area, but it's simply not as convenient!

Frunk can get hot due to proximity to inverters, especially in the summer. Not as convenient to keep it in the back, but is taking a couple extra steps and opening the rear hatch, instead of the hood, really that inconvenient?
