Thanks. Soon after I posted, I received an invite to the R1 shop. At first they had only 2 R1S's that didn't match my config. Went back an hour later and they had multiple R1S's and one that matched my EXACT config. Agree, that it's weird that Rivian didn't simply match me to that VIN.I would assume so, this is what mine had done. I was a 1/21 order, but there were a lot in the shop when I was looking Wednesday and Thursday. Odd that they are not automatically matching to an open order. My exact config was there Thursday Morning.
Now, I'm trying to complete my 8 steps and they want insurance card WITH the new VIN on it!!! Pretty odd as I have never had insurance for a vehicle BEFORE I received it and I don't even think that it is possible! I've always just provided my current insurance info. I tried using the Rivian insurance option (which was pretty high) but I figured I'd use that then switch to my insurance, and in that step they wanted my financing details! It's too early to have that info as well!! I was assigned a Guide, hopefully they can clarify.
