Nah, the email and the landing page for the opt-in clearly state that they’ll be prioritizing based on when you took delivery of your Rivian. Oldest owners to newest as adapters become available and they’ll be contacting to verify addresses as they prepare to ship your adapter.

My statement was mostly tongue-in-cheek, meaning “look at little ol’ me, I only took delivery a few months ago and I got an email!”

but yeah, I know they’ll prioritize by ownership timing, which I’m fine with.

Rivian sees early adopters not as who put down deposits when, but rather who took delivery and when.

When you got the e-mail doesn't matter. They're going to ship out adapters by delivery date.
