Like many on this forum I've been impatiently waiting for my Rivian, in my case the R1S. This past weekend I pulled into the local Porsche dealership to gawk at a couple of Taycans they had on the lot. As I was backing out of the lot I heard a crunch. My initial thought was I just ran into a brand new car that I can't afford, but as luck would have it, it was just a light pole. But now, I have to get a new bumper repaired on my Tesla, out of pocket to avoid any insurance issues with the Rivian when that arrives.

Yeah, been waiting on a replacement M3 rear quarter window for 5 weeks with no target date in sight.

Last time I dealt with a Tesla repair, the body shop had to order the parts from Tesla out of province. Fine. But! Tesla wouldn’t courier it or accept courier pickup. Body shop owner wound up getting it delivered from Calgary(13hr drive)…via taxi.

Yeah, been waiting on a replacement M3 rear quarter window for 5 weeks with no target date in sight.

Once they manufacture the glass, it will only be a few more weeks of waiting.

I recently had the front bumper and a radar sensor underneath replaced, plus a door ding fixed. Both repairs involved paint work, and it was fixed in about a week, maybe a little less, with great communication every step of the way. I was pleasantly surprised what a great experience it was!
