Keep second row HVAC on

Hi,
On my previous Gen1, if I turned on the vents for the second row, they would stay on, forever until a turned them off. With my current Gen2, the rear vents keep turning off after returning to the car after it's been shut down. It's a pain to do manually every time and I was wondering if I'm missing something here.

We leave the middle seatbelt buckled in the second row, this forces the air to stay on.
