Phone has a key doesn't work for me so I only use the Key Fob for everything. I don't keep the key cards on me. About a quarter of the time I unlock the truck, get in, foot on brake, and the vehicle ask me to present the key. It shows the graphic of putting the key card near the door and it won't go into "READY" state.
Two issues:
1. This does nothing when I put the key fob near the door.
2. I can only get the vehicle into "READY" state by pressing unlock and lock multiple times on the fob while in the driver seat and waving the thing around the middle of the cabin. Sometimes it recognizes quick, sometimes it takes 5 or 6 attempts.
I have never had a problem unlocking the doors with the fob. It seems to only be an issue trying to actually start the Rivian. And again, only about 1/4 of the time but its a real pain when it happens.
Would like to get your thoughts on this. Should the fob register by the door? Is there somewhere else the fob registers?
