I have this issue also. Gen 2, Trimotor. Definitely started after the last update.
I have never reset Trip B, which now shows that I have used 1718 kWh. But my charging history total is 1530 kWh.
Also my trip A now says I have used 195 kWh in the last 89 miles. I have not been to the drag strip, and I have not been towing the space shuttle.

UPDATE...I drove another 5 miles and now my trip A is over 2000kWh used. Maybe the vampire drain calculation has a decimal in the wrong spot.

I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing this issue.
I reset trip b today and did a drive. It was accurate like normal, pretty close to energy screen, and used 9kw in about 26 miles. I'm going to see what it says in the morning after sitting overnight if it's a vampire drain thing.
Thanks!

I did a hard and soft reset, and reset both trip A and trip B. Now both seem to be reading correctly. Kind of a bummer, I was using trip B as a "lifetime" counter. First world problem, I'll get over it.

I'll see tomorrow if everything is OK again.

Yeah after I got home from my 25.8 mile trip yesterday I had used 9kwh. This morning when I woke up I'm still at 25.8 miles but now 730kwh used, back to ole .16mi/kwh

If standard pack, maybe you need to charge it full to recalibrate BMS. If not standard, lots of strange things tend to pop up when the 12V starts to go.

It's funny you mention the 12v, because when they were out here for a mobile service appointment a on July 17 they proactively replaced the 12v batteries and harness. (I have Max pack)

I also had my 12V battery replaced. It could have been that. I updated near that time. I could really see the battery replacement could have caused it.

It's already been added to my next mobile service appt a month from now (they had to wait for a part and come back then anyway). But they said they had never heard of it so I wanted to check the community to see if anyone else was having the issue.
Thanks!

After hard and soft reset, and resetting both Trip A and Trip B, both my A & B kWh counters are working correctly.
But before that the B counter showed way more energy usage than my total charging history.

I'll try that today, I've done a hard reset but maybe it was right before my 12v were swapped out.
Thanks for the update.

I'm a new owner (about two months). 2025 R1T tri with the all terrain package. I'm pretty anally retentive about tracking milage, energy use/costs etc. I'm seeing crazy things since the big OTA update. Here is my current spreadsheet on my truck. In the winter I color code blue for anything under 60 degrees and yellow for 70 and above. Noticed huge drop in m/kWh after the update. Also I started getting a parking assist unavailable message that has come and gone. I did schedule a service appointment for Sept 15.

I never reset trip 'A' but over the last month I've noticed my overall efficiency decreasing, oddly so. I set trip 'B' last week, and noticed over the miles I've driven, it's registering an abnormally high kwh used. I have a mobile service ticket out a month from now and added this to it. Just curious if anyone else noticed this as well?

I'm getting something similar, having happened in two separate instances.

First, I had a 530 mile road trip and averaged about 2.55mi/kwh to my destination. Then I was plugged-in off and on and only drove 2-4 miles over a long weekend, and plugged in again prior to driving home. When I went to load up the Rivian to get on the road, over time the trip meter dropped to 0.22mi/kwh over that 530+ miles, and said I had used something like 2.2mWh - all in less than 30 hours. It totally killed my Trip B meter which had been set since taking delivery of the car.

Frustrated, I reset the trip A and drove home 530 miles. Barely 3 hours later I came out to the car to drive it again and the same thing happened, dropping me from 2.84mi/kwh down to 1.22. Very frustrating.
