I picked a RC w/ BM and 20” AT today and my VIN is 16212. So looks like it was built this month, neat!

I did the 20” AT. I was going to powder coat my 21s all black anyway so getting 20s with more tire options is a win. Plus I can get the Pirelli AS which will get me similar range to the 21s — or so I hear.

It is too difficult to track the deliveries and how each one progresses. I feel like I am always reading way too much into it and coming to my own assumptions, which is bad.

I started my 8-step process on June 23, 2023, with an R1S VIN 11xxx. My original estimate was August-September. After 4 weeks of no updates, I reached out to my guide. There wasn't any info on the VIN other than it was still in Normal. This seemed quite odd as people on here were reporting deliveries of VINs in the 15xxx range.

Again, reading way too much into it, it would appear there were some problems with the original vehicle. At the least, the data they expose to us in the purchase process remains vague. We are accustomed to agencies like Amazon that show us the package we ordered yesterday on a map 6 stops away. Growing pains.

We ended up finding a new VIN in the 13xxx range that is on the way to the Denver SC, but with different wheels (20 vs. 22 ordered). I opted to change to that package as I was interested in having a set of 20" wheels anyway. Still no updates on the status of the vehicle. The forecasting tools could probably be improved by leaps and bounds. At the same time, I would rather receive a vehicle that was thoroughly checked out before delivery, rather than find issues and have to return.

I need to be patient, but it is so difficult! (you all know this feeling too well)

My VIN is 0156XX. Vehicle went into "ready for purchase" state a couple weeks ago, and was notified two days ago that it's in transit from factory.

My car was ready to leave the factory 7/14 at which point my guide said 5 weeks. I couldn't wait longer so I just texted asking if he had any updates. Fingers crossed!

Yeah the underbody. I originally had it on my order but then reading all the forums and people saying it’s useful for rock crawling, I decided not to get it. I’ll do some light off-roading but nothing crazy.

If you guys are twins, mine must be the cousin - RC, OC interior, with 20" dark and RUS. It'll be four weeks since delivery in a couple of days!
