I picked up my R1T at the So. SF this evening and they had just unloaded an R1S. It was a Launch Edition with Forrest Edge interior. They said it was for an employee.

That's the perfect R1S.

This is the Roofnest Condor Overland - see my thread here. I like that it's a hard shell with extrusion channels for mounting accessories (I have an axe mount and shovel mount, and am waiting for a good option to mount my Maxtrax as well.)

At the expo this weekend I saw that CVT now has a similar hardshell with similar extrusion channels - I didn't spend a lot of time with it but it looked higher quality than the Roofnest, but a bit more expensive. Worth checking out. Mt Washington (cascadiatents.com)

I'd take either of these over the Rivian/Yakima tent - anecdotally, that canvas cover wears out fast in the sun and they flap around a lot in the wind. It does have a slightly bigger sleeping space, but if that's the style you like I'd look at the iKamper x-Cover Mini which looks higher quality and has crossbars for accessories: iKamper - X-COVER® 2.0 MINI

My Launch Green was delivered a week ago today and no buyers remorse. That was the first time I've actually seen one live and a little larger than I expected. I settled for the 21" road wheels instead of the all terrain and glad I did as the ride and handling are quite nice while my guide said they are still

very capable off road.

Picked my truck up yesterday and drove home in some serious rain. So far everything has exceed my expectations by a lot. The interior is much more premium than expected. Pictures don't do it justice. Easily as nice, if not nicer, than my Audi E-tron interior.

Can't wait to get it out on the road/trail.

how did you do on range and battery life as there are almost no charging stations there from what I've seen. and the climb up the mountain I would assume took a decent amount of power then heading out on the trails.
