Do you guys always keep motion cam on? Delivery guide said it will eat up the battery faster but don’t know how much of a difference it really makes.

How large is the system? 2tb? Meaning record for two weeks before deleting?

Motion cam eats a little battery (2%ish per day) but if you’re charging regularly it doesn’t matter much. Storage is also minimal. I have 2TB for my drive cam (not just motion) and I have way more than enough storage.

Thanks guys. I guess I will leave it on.

Anybody know why I all of a sudden cannot start new threads? It allows me to reply to other threads and my own thread but I can’t start new ones until 22 hours later for some reason.

No issues here. What happens when you try? Any error message? Try clearing cache, cookies, try in a different browser, etc.

I just don’t have the button to start new thread. When I scroll to the bottom, it just says that I can start a new thread in 22 hours.

Try leaving it on for a few days and you’ll find way more video recordings than you have the energy to review! I just use it to record Incidents.

What do you mean record incidents? Change the setting to something else?
I definitely recommend reading about your vehicle in the manual. There are a lot of answers for you in there.

Ive got a 2TB solid state drive and have easy access to charging every night. I let it record absolutely everything.

I have never reviewed a video and I don't know why I would until the truck is damaged and I want to figure out how.

Set it and forget until you need it.
