Has anyone found a lower level all weather mat for the spare tire compartment?

I‘m interested in the floor mats, are recent orders still experiencing 2nd and 3rd row alignment issues?

@mohitkhatri88, wrote to LinerX team and they responded quickly. Recent changes were only for from driver seat mat, not for the 2nd row. Their recommendation was to try the hot air dryer to expand it a little bit. Unfortunately it didn't work and they are sending me the replacement mat. If it works I will let you know.

Did you get your replacement 2nd row mat and did it have the same issue?

Mine don't fit in the second row. I plan to fix this with a knife and just cut out another half inch on each side.

There are minor issues on the third row, but I rarely use the third row anyway.

Another problem, but I think that's a Rivian problem, is that the knobs for attachment don't line up between car and mat. But it looks like Rivian doesn't put those consistently, they don't seem to be symmetric. That on the one hand is annoying because the mats don't stay in place, but I think I will just tolerate that.

LinerX sent me another second row mat as a replacement, but of course it didn't fit either.

I email LinerX and they replied with the following:

It seems the fit of our R1S floor mats can vary depending on your car's design. Some cars will have a perfect fit, while others might not. That's exactly why we provide a 30-day trial period. Feel free to test it out, and if the fit isn't to your liking, you're more than welcome to return it to us.

Just wanted to point out that the comments you see on the forum are from a few customers who had issues. The majority of our customers are happy with our products. If you have any questions or need assistance, we're always here to help you.

Did you get your replacement 2nd row mat and did it have the same issue?

Apologies for the delayed response. There was some mishap and I received the incorrect one. Once I notified the issue, LinerX shipped the right one immediately. Still waiting for it. I am pretty pleased with LinerX customer service. If it new one also has the same issue, I will cut a little bit to fit it properly.

I got the linerX mat during Black Friday and just got the car like 2 days ago. Front was easy to install, 3rd row is little harder, but I can’t even all the tabs into the 2nd row. It’s not fitting properly and I have 2024 vin r1s. Is this a common issue now with 2nd row only??

@LinerX I’m in MD as well, would you want to come over to take a look and maybe can fix for me on the spot??

We've noticed that while some R1S are a perfect fit with our mats, others don't due to different trim alignments. But here's the good news: we've redesigned the 2nd row mat and removed the wings piece to make them better for everyone. The new design will be here in March.

If you're interested in a replacement, just drop us an email with your order # in March at [email protected]. In the meantime, you're more than welcome to purchase and use the current design. When the new design arrives, we’ll happily replace your 2nd row mat for free.

update. both 2nd and 3rd row are slightly off, on my 2024 / (Dec 2023 delivered) R1S. I installed both on the driver side clips first, and on the passenger side, the mats are slightly off by a few mm. I was able to clip in all 3 circles but some feel stretched imo. Since LinerX is offering their revised mat for free in March, I think i will take them up on their offer.

Got my LinerX for my R1S today. Unfortunately it came with a hole in it. The bigger issue is the entire side where the hole is has much thinner material than the other side.
