Yes, I feel the same. I'm still on the preorder list for R1S, but I'm very intrigued by the long range of the Gravity, as well as how they accomplished this with a battery nearly half the size (and therefore much quicker to charge). We have a cabin 2h up into the mountains from our primary home, so I would see the R1S being more utilitarian, and the Gravity being more comfort and road-trippy. That said, I've spent all of 25min in a rather lame demo drive of the R1S, and zero time even looking at a Gravity in person, so pretty hard to apply any real world knowledge here.
Maybe I need to be in the expensive pie business....
Along with most other generic CUV/puedo SUV/minivans on or entering the market, the R1S shouldn't take too much of a hit.

The Escalade does have ridiculously long hood, completely unnecessary for an EV.Funny how this lucid makes the Escalade look like it has an incredibly unnecessarily long hood.
Looks better than the Volvo & Escalade pictured, could do much worse compared to some of the offerings these days.

I would be really confident in saying that the reason why most of these households that have over $1 mill in investable assets is because they don‘t spend $120k on a car. Just from anecdotal observation, a significant portion of $120k+ car drivers have literally nothing in the bank and make about $150-$200k a year
I would be really confident in that it’s not the case.
No car maker was ablel to produce a car that has 'nice looking' + 'minivan' but this Gravity might just pull it off and if they do it will be a hugh success.
We already know the answer to this if you look at the air's two different batteries. They won't make 3 or 4 if the form factor can already fit the two they have.
I think $1M in assets includes assets you don't want to sell to pay for a car, like a house and investment accounts that are needed for retirement one day. I know people with assets of more than $1M who have never spent $100k on a car. Would they? Maybe, but likely not. They just don't see the value in spending that much.
I struggle with the Lucid Vehicles in general. I think from the B- Pillar forward, they are great. Somewhere before the C-Pillar, it loses it for me. In this image, it looks like they said, oh crap, the third row does not fit. Lets add another foot to the back. I wanted to like it before I saw the images. many say the AIr looks better in person. I disagree as every one that I have seen looks the same, so not sure how this one will do. FWIW, I don't care for the cyber truck either. I am sure there are many people out there that love it.
