A long shot, but has anyone lost a magnet fastener from the plastic panel that pops off at the nose of the vehicle on front of the front trunk tub AND managed to find a replacement?

One of mine disappeared and I'm not sure how, but if anyone's found a way to get one... I'm curious

Just as an FYI, I don't believe these are magnetic anymore.

You're talking about this guy in the front corners in the attached pic, right? Ive got them on mine, older vin. I would call service, or your local service center, just to check. But If they are no longer available, and if it were me, I might MacGyver a replacement, looks fairly easy. Ive done some magnet held stuff before.
Check the other magnet on the other side for some measurements:
  1. Depth from underside of plastic skirt to bottom of magnet
  2. Width of space available between the molded ridges in there above the magnet
  3. Diameter of magnet
Then run to your local hardware store and snag what you may need:
  1. A rubber stopper, or some rubber grommets that fit those first 2 measurements
  2. A strong magnet that is hopefully close to the diameter. Though in my experience, the short and wider magnets tend to be pretty weak, the stronger ones tend to be smaller. (if you find that too, and you want a stronger wide one, im sure you could find it online)
  3. I think Epoxy would be better than Kragle, but your call (I like the epoxy in the syringe, easy to squeeze out equal parts) But you could also strengthen the Kragle by sprinkling on some baking soda
Sandpaper down the surface of the plastic skirt and the surface of the magnet to increase the grab of the adhesive of choice. I would glue the magnet to rubber first, just incase of errors or anything. Then glue that to the skirt.

Don’t forget to check magnet polarity first! ? (been there ☹)

Hope that helps!
If you try it, post the result, or at least hit me up to let me know that it worked! Or hit me up with any questions if this is not your thing.

He is correct above... they were deleted at the end of 2022 early 2023. Neighbors 2022 has magnets, 12v under dash and no power in frunk. Our march 2023 has no magnets, no 12v in frunk or dash.
