is it possible he used the baby as leverage... asking for a friend. seriously I have a baby on the way in 6 months and need a more practical car (Tesla is my wife's car), was kinda hoping I would get the Rivian before then. otherwise, might need to go shopping for another car.

There is no way to make it make sense. Drilling holes in the bumper for a license plate is madness. Some people just want to watch the world burn…

I spent $400 on my last car removing the front license plate and getting the wholes filled in a sprayed over professionally....

My dad (the CTO of Rivian) has an R1T so I think that helped move me up the list

This would make a lot more sense... I don't know who his dad is but good chance he works for Rivian to help get him an R1S...

Either that, or this guy bought it off cars and bids and doesn't want his friends to know he got ripped off.

As someone originally from WI I can tell you that it's stupidly cold there in winter time. So it looks as though he's wearing a really warm fur hat but it's going to mess his hair up, so he takes that one off inside and puts on the baseball cap. You need all sorts of clothes in WI that you don't need in more human friendly places to live.
